After realizing the gap that existed between Sunday school and Chiedza Chenyika Youth Group, the Church decided to bridge this gap through creation of another group of young people between grades 6 and Form 6 (i.e. Junior Chiedza). This has enabled the Church to reach out and meet the spiritual needs of this age group at the same time making them identify with the Church. This has since been adopted at Synod level and a number of congregations have started implementing this.

The main thrust is on basic elementary truths, salvation, deliverance, effective bible study and quiet time. We also help them to overcome challenges experienced by teenagers which include relationships, dating, dressing, communication with parents and career guidance.

Junior Chiedza has three (3) outings per year. They meet every Sunday from 11am – 1200hrs.
